Piazza della Liberta
In this square, located in Udine's storied city centre, are several buildings of different periods showing the varying aesthetic influences over the city. The town hall, also known as the Loggio del Lionello, displays clear Venetian qualities, and the Loggia di San Giovanni, directly opposite, features a Moorish clock. A popular gathering-place for locals, the piazza is a gracious remainder from the Renaissance.
