Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio The towers of the Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio, Gorizia's most important church, are topped with curious, copper, onion-shaped domes, the kind that are often seen in Eastern European coubtries, but rarely Italy. Built between 1654 and 1724, the interior is decorated with ornate medallions and glittering frescoes. Address: Piazza della Vittoria Gorizia GO Italy
